This easy and summery appetizer takes no time to put together, and therefore it is a perfect dish to add to the menu when you are expecting guests. If you cannot find mullet, you can easily replace it with other white fish. Remember to freeze the fish before use, and slice it before it is completely thawed. This gives the nicest result.

Ingredients

400 g
mullet fillets without skin
100 ml
freshly squeezed lime juice
1 tsp
salt
1 pinch
sugar
1
small red onion
0.5 bunch
scallions
Any fresh herbs or edible flowers for garnish
1-2 tbsp
olive oil
Avoid screen shutting off

Instructions

Step 1/5
Slice the mullet into thin slices, and arrange it on plates.
Step 2/5
Mix lime juice with salt and sugar, and stir until dissolved.
Step 3/5
Peel the red onion, and chop it finely. Slice the scallions.
Step 4/5
Drizzle the lime juice over the fish, top with red onion and scallions as well as any herbs and flowers.
Step 5/5
Drizzle olive oil over.
