  • Heat on low to medium heat. Never use the BOOST/POWER function on induction. Medium heat is usually enough, thanks to the material's heat retention. Do not heat for more than 3–5 minutes if the pot or pan is empty.
  • Avoid metal utensils – choose wood, silicone or plastic.
  • The enamel is durable, but cannot withstand knocks and impacts.
  • Avoid sudden changes in temperature, such as pouring cold water into a hot pot or pan, and let it cool down before cleaning.
  • Not dishwasher safe. Wash with hot water and soap using a non-scratch brush or sponge. Dry thoroughly straight away and store in a dry place. We do not recommend stacking cast iron pots and pans.

Iconic cookware for a lifetime of cooking joy

For many decades, cast iron has been the foundation of both home and professional kitchens. The enamelled cast iron set combines tradition and function in two timeless kitchen classics. The pan is made for perfect searing, beautiful ratatouille and elegant lattice fruit tarts, while the pot invites you to make flavourful boeuf bourguignon, Danish-style chicken and freshly baked, moist pot bread. It's the set you bring to the table when the family gathers – now and for many years to come.

The enamelled surface is free from PFAS and other unwanted chemicals, and unlike raw cast iron, the enamel interior can handle acidic ingredients. Cast iron retains heat efficiently, so you can achieve a fantastic sear while using less energy during longer cooking. Together, the set covers many of your kitchen needs – from frying and simmering to braising, baking and steaming.

The right cast iron pan and pot are something you only buy once in a lifetime, which is why we haven't compromised on production, materials or design. Both the pot and the pan are made by a French company that has been producing cast iron products of the very highest quality since the 1920s. Each piece of cast iron is cast in its own individual sand mould, and the enamelling is done by hand by experienced experts. It's the quality of the enamel that makes the biggest difference – not tomorrow, but many years from now.

The craftsmanship is French, but the design is Danish and minimalist. The pan has a rounded handle for a comfortable grip and a practical helper handle that makes it easy to move from hob to oven to table. The pot has a tight-fitting lid with condensation rings and an ergonomic stainless steel handle that's easy to hold, even with oven gloves. The set comes in several timeless colours that look great on both the hob and the table.
