Quick to prepare, but packed with flavor. These Spanish-inspired shrimp are excellent as part of a shared meal with several small dishes. Use soft chorizo if possible. If you can't find it, you can also use the harder version found in most supermarkets. In that case, remove the casing and slice the chorizo thinly.

large shrimp

Instructions
Step 1/8
Peel the shrimp and remove the intestinal vein.
Step 2/8
Peel and chop the garlic, and pluck the thyme leaves.
Step 3/8
Put all three parts in a bowl and let them marinate for a couple of hours.
Step 4/8
Meanwhile, squeeze the chorizo out of the sausage casing and divide it into small pieces.
Step 5/8
Fry it in a little olive oil in a pan until it begins to brown.
Step 6/8
Now add the shrimp and fry for a couple of minutes until the shrimp are cooked through.
Step 7/8
Season with pepper.
Step 8/8
